Garlic and Lemon Green Beans
  • ½ teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 oz green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • a pinch of red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  1. Heat up extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the green beans and stir for 6 minutes, until bright green and slightly soft.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium, then add the garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Stir for another two minutes.
  4. Add the lemon juice, stir for another minute to incorporate. Plate, then serve warm.
